Manny Ruiz, founder and creative director of Hispanicize, shared the details of what will be the next edition of the annual event that gathers the trends of the Hispanic market in the US, which will take place from March 16th to 19th at the Hotel Intercontinental Miami.A new feature that brings Hispanicize in its sixth edition is the launch of Tecla awards to recognize the excellence of Latino blogs, microblogging and social network marketing.”The Tecla awards demonstrate the digital evolution of the Latino market, and were intended to recognize the entire industry, from the side of the creators to the side of the brands, agencies and media companies. We want to reward excellence in all aspects in the digital world,” Ruiz told PRODU.The Tecla jury will consist of brand representatives, media and PR agencies and advertising, among which ALMA, Sensis and República are included, among others.As part of the alliance between Hispanicize and Univision, the TV network will co-produce a program during the awards ceremony and celebrities will actively participate in a live transmission, Ruiz confirmed.”I never imagined that Hispanicize would become the most important event of the Hispanic marketing and media market.
